Escort Misrepresentation (aka the ol’ Bait and Switch)
by Mimi Tram
My acronym for Bait and Switch is BS. That is also an acronym for another related word with its roots in cows and poop. In fact for this article you can use the two meanings interchangeably. In this age of self-edited internet escort websites, honest advertising is sometimes hard to find. BS websites are far too common. A client has several sources of information including social media, discussion boards, escort agency websites, personal websites, and escort directories. Each of them will have certain risks for fake ads and girls. In other words, each type of website will have different amounts of BS.
When does the information on a webpage go beyond truthful representation? Are there ways to help a client spot the websites with fake girls? Today, I want to give you some hints on how you can identify authentic escort pages from the fakes.
Fake ad sites not only post photos of girls that will never meet you but they also list prices and services that the escort they send will not honor. That is the true BS trick. They are hoping that your fear of attracting management attention to your hotel room is enough for you to give her the cash and send her home. It is easy for me to advise you to be tough. However, I understand not everyone is in a position to deal with such situations. So let’s talk about how to spot these fakes and avoid the nasty experience altogether.
Every escort website will have photos of the escorts. Basic stuff on the website always has the escort name, contact information and some photos. Many escorts also provide a bit of personal information like their favorite foods and hobbies. Write-ups in advertising for fake escorts will usually be the same text with just the names being changed. These are very common in escort agency websites.
I think there are good agencies but too often, the girls sent by escort agencies run the bait and switch. If you are using an agency, my first advice for you is to know that the person on the phone simply schedules the girls. Any services and rates you confirm with them is worth nothing to the girl arriving in your room. You are almost always gambling when booking a girl thru an agency. Even if the agency is reliable, well-reputed and honestly sends the girl of your choice to you, that girl may decide to send her friend who needs the extra cash that night. The BS is not done by the agency but by the girls working for the agency.
Some ways to check if the girl in the ad is the real girl.
– Look for more than one photo of the girl.
It is best if the photos show her wearing different clothes in different surroundings. Nowadays, internet photos are easily copied so look for a unique watermark on the photos. Theft of photos is too easy on social media. I was recently victim of such theft on Twitter. So look for a watermark on her photos.
– If you can download an image from the advert, try using an image lookup service like Tineye.
You can many others if you search using keywords or the phrase “reverse image lookup”. Those sites will search the internet for the exact or similar images. It may not find anything on the internet which means exactly that – it did not find anything in its database.
– It is common for escorts to have several websites.
Some may be paid and others may be free. Be wary of an escort who has only one free ad. Chances are good that if you call three ads who have similar looking girls, the same voice will answer your call at least twice. Fake photos should be your big red flag.
I want to wrap up the article with a comment on client expectations. All escort websites will portray the escort in the best way possible. The photos are professional quality and the poses enhance her physical assets. We also take care to write up a bio so you can better know our style of escorting. So, as a future client, please make sure you read our ads and bios. If you can do that, you will have proper expectations of your evening activities and who you will see when we meet. Realistic expectations of your escort is a perfect start to a wonderful evening and hopefully the first of many more dates.
